Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Senior Angular Programmer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a S​​enior Angular developer with preferably Java Spring backend experience.

. Leads development efforts to assess and document current and target state high level existing processes and functional needs across the enterprise.
. Work with the customers and other enterprise developers to formulate policies and plans that support the enterprise goals, implement efficient end to end processes and leverage use of existing IT assets.
. Align strategic goals and objectives with key business and IT initiatives.
. Work to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, industry standard techniques and best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. 6+ years Angular experience is a must
. 6+ years hands on experience writing CSS and Java Script
. Should have at least 4+ years of experience in API integration with REST APIs
. Should have 4+ years of experience in AWS/Container/Cloudfront/Route53/ALB.
. 3+ years of Java/Spring framework experience (If not Java/Spring, the Python Django or some equivalent)
. Have solid hands-on relevant work experience building Web SPA applications using Angular framework and HTML/CSS/Javascript (ReactJS or any other framework experience
. is a plus)
. Should be able to independently work on developing UI pages, help in deployment of the UI to AWS
. Should also have AWS/Java/Spring framework/Container knowledge.
. Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
. Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed 3) Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of internal customers
. Knowledge of one or more of the following: J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field 2) Professional certification(s) desired 15+ years of related experience in their specific area with experience leading teams on projects with similar scope and complexity. Experience as a lead developer for projects similar in scope and responsibility​

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,800.00 - $154,300.00.
