Registered Nurse
- Starting Pay:
- $34.50/hour for Full time, with scheduled increases. Additional compensation dependent on experience.
- Schedule: This position will include various shifts, including possible holidays, possible weekends, and a rotational on-call schedule with other team members.
- Full Time: 36 hours - three 12-hour shifts per week
- Evening/weekend hours are eligible for 11% shift differential.
- Physical, dental, mental health assessments & discharges
- Obtaining and interpreting vital signs and weight
- Drawing and running labs and monitoring lab results
- Administering oral (PO), subcutaneous (SubQ), and/or intramuscular (IM) medications
- Educating clients regarding psychotropic/medical medication side-effects and health and wellness topics
- Initiating or responding to phone contacts with clients, medical providers, pharmacists, case managers and other providers, as appropriate, regarding medication needs, lab reports, side effects, etc.
- Documenting all pertinent nursing assessments or notes in the electronic health record, and accurately documenting medication orders and administration
- Documenting services
- Licensure/Certifications: Must have an active, unrestricted license as an RN in the State of Virginia.
- One Year of Experience providing medication management is required. Psychiatric nursing experience is a plus!
- Background Check : Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
