What we are looking for:
Aleto Inc. is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to play a crucial role in ensuring the protection and compliance of Aleto Inc.'s sensitive information and resources. The primary responsibility includes the development, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive security programs in accordance with the guidelines established by the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The FSO will work diligently to safeguard classified information, perform security audits, and enforce risk mitigation strategies, thereby reducing the chances of a security breach. Additionally, FSOs conduct thorough background investigations, grant security clearances, and facilitate security training programs.
Interview Process
If you are selected for an interview, Aleto will contact you by email to arrange an interview via an online platform, such as Microsoft Teams or by telephone. The entire interview process can average around 3 weeks from the time you are initially contacted to interview. After all candidates are interviewed, Aleto will notify you of your application status.
If an offer is extended, the start date is determined based on factors such as availability and the amount of time it takes for the government's background clearance process (depending on the client).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Initiating, reviewing, and processing Personnel Security Clearances and Periodic Reinvestigations.
Preparing Visit Authorization Requests (VARs).
Performing badging functions, including satellite offices and job sites. Processing Common Access Card (CAC), DBIDS, and other badge requests.
Communicating Clearance status updates to Project Managers and other individuals within the organization.
Performing security briefings/debriefings
Submit electronic fingerprints through SWFT.
Managing document control databases for all classified material per the NISPOM and contractual requirements.
Reviewing employee background screening results and providing pass/fail determinations.
Reviewing access control systems and maintaining employee/visitor badges and access control cards.
Maintaining facility clearance records (SF 328, KMP list, etc.). Assisting with preparing DD254.
Preparing for DCSA and other government inspections.
ALETO JOB DUTIES
Compliance with all Aleto processes, standards, and guidelines, including utilizing the employee and intranet platforms, clocking in and/or entering time daily, submitting expense reports, providing monthly progress reports, etc.
Participate in recurring performance development meetings with your Aleto Team Lead to discuss current job tasks, promote open dialog/feedback, recognize and celebrate wins, and review positive and purposeful approaches for meeting work-related and professional development goals.
Attend team meetings, tri-annual company All-Hands Meetings, and other company-sponsored team-building events to foster and support Aleto's core values, vision, and culture.
QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications / Education / Experience:
Master's Degree and 5-7 Years of the following experience or Bachelor's Degree and 7-9 Years of the following experience or Associate's degree and 10-12 Years of the following experience.
Security, Government, or Industry Experience.
Proficiency in DISS, NISS, ACCS, and other security databases
Understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual
Familiarity with SIMS
COMSEC experience
Strong understanding of NISPOM 3
Required Certifications: FSO Certification for Possessing Facility Completion.
Requires absolute discretion, demonstrated judgment, problem-resolution skills, and a background of working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills and the ability to relay technical information to others.
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Skills are a plus.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be comfortable presenting to clients and executive personnel.
Ability to write clearly and informatively, editing work for spelling and grammar, varying writing style to meet needs

Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance:
Aleto employees are offered single, single-plus-one-dependent, or family medical, vision, and dental insurance plans.
Aleto offers three medical plan options to employees. Aleto contributes 75% of the employee premium to the base medical plan and the option to “buy up” for the two additional plans.
Aleto contributes 75% of the employee premium for the vision and dental plans.
Pre-Tax Savings Accounts
The option to enroll in an HSA or FSA , depending on elected medical insurance coverage. Dependent Care FSAs are also available.

Paid Time Off:
Paid time off includes eleven federal holidays. Full-time employees accrue PTO at the rate of 5 hours per pay period for a total of three weeks per year. In addition, employees are provided with a separate bank of 40 hours of paid sick leave per year.

Environment and Physical Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, move inside and around an office, position themself to access items located in high or low areas, and transport items weighing up to 20 pounds across the office. Requires the constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery and the ability to observe details at a close range typically within a few feet of the observer. The employee interacts frequently with other workers, vendors, and clients and will communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The position consistently requires work to be completed in an office environment with artificial light and air.
