Delivery Helper

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Delivery Helper supports the achievement of regional sales objectives by assisting the delivery driver with the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of products to stores and supermarkets. This role ensures timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service and product handling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities represent the general duties associated with this position. Actual duties may vary depending on the specific requirements of the role.

• Unload products from the truck at customer locations.
• Merchandise products at customer locations as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and accounts.
• Actively participate in all scheduled meetings.
• Attend all required training sessions.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines, protocols, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow safety protocols for handling and transporting products, as well as maintaining a clean and safe delivery vehicle.

EXPERIENCE:

• One or more years of experience in delivery, merchandising, sales, and/or customer contact preferred.
• Experience in using a pallet jack, store dolly, and store jacks.
• Strong experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings, while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and address their needs effectively.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

REQUIRED/ BACKGROUND CHECK:
