Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday
  • On-call rotation—minimum of 14 days

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists and vascular physicians in advanced cardiac and vascular diagnostic/interventional procedures, including TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman, EKOs, balloon pump, atherectomy, and electrophysiology studies.
  • Operate and maintain complex lab equipment, including GE and Siemens machines.
  • Calibrate, set up, and monitor procedure instrumentation, ensuring electronic and radiological safety.
  • Prep patients, monitor during procedures, and collect diagnostic data.
  • Provide direct patient care for adolescent through geriatric populations.
  • Calculate drug dosages, administer medications, and make quick clinical decisions based on real-time data.
  • Maintain accurate supplies, equipment, lab cleanliness, and support documentation.
  • Demonstrate agility, emotional composure, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Participate in flexible/on-call schedules as needed.

Qualifications:

  • RCIS required; Radiology Tech and/or accredited Electrophysiology program background preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Vocational/Technical degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a cath lab, supporting cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to use PPE (lead apron, thyroid shield) and physically assist in patient positioning.
