Kids World Montessori is currently accepting applications for a Primary Classroom Assistant Teacher to join our team.

Schedule Options:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–5:30 PM

About the Position

We are seeking a warm, nurturing, patient, and dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Montessori Primary Classroom, serving children 3–6 years of age .

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children, enjoys collaborating with others, and is committed to creating a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom routines and Montessori activities
• Supervise and engage children throughout the day
• Support children with toileting, self-care, and daily living skills as needed
• Help prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting Montessori environment
• Assist during meals, outdoor play, rest time, and classroom transitions
• Foster children's independence, confidence, and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with fellow staff and communicate professionally with families
• Lift and carry classroom materials and children when needed (up to 25 lbs)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Kind, patient, dependable, and nurturing
• Passionate about working with children
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Comfortable assisting children with toileting and personal care when needed
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred but not required
• Montessori experience is a plus
