We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team onsite in Richmond, VA. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in Agile methodologies and proven leadership experience in managing Business Analyst teams. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to oversee multiple projects, ensuring consistent quality in business analysis deliverables while fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

• Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of business analysts to drive performance and maintain consistent analysis practices.

  • Assign, prioritize, and manage workloads to ensure efficient team output and project completion.

  • Conduct regular peer reviews, coaching, and development sessions to enhance team capabilities.

• Project Oversight:

  • Monitor progress across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deliverables are on time and aligned with quality standards.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of business analysis outputs, including user stories, business process diagrams, and requirements traceability matrices.

  • Ensure alignment of team outputs with strategic business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

• Business Analysis:

  • Utilize strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to guide project execution.

  • Support the development of business cases, gap analyses, and solution recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and seamless execution.

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  1. Experience:

     • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.

     • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, managing or mentoring other analysts.

  2. Technical Skills:

     • Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

     • Exposure to automated testing tools is a plus.

  3. Certifications (Preferred):

     • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

     • CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)

     • PMP (Project Management Professional)

  4. Soft Skills:

     • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

     • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

  This role is 100% onsite in Richmond, VA. Candidates must be local and available for in-person interviews . The selected candidate will be expected to work closely with stakeholders and development teams onsite to facilitate timely project delivery.
