Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in business systems analysis, requirements gathering, SDLC methodologies, UAT/testing coordination, and enterprise web application support. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

This role requires strong analytical, documentation, communication, and testing skills to support enterprise application development, maintenance, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements
• Create detailed requirements documentation including:
  • BRDs
  • FRDs
  • Use Cases
  • User Stories
  • Process Flows
  • Functional Specifications
• Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Support enterprise web application development, enhancement, and implementation initiatives
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and project discussions
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and status meetings
• Create and execute:
  • Test Plans
  • Test Scripts
  • UAT Documentation
  • Functional Testing Scenarios
• Perform manual testing of web applications and validate business requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects and application issues
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment between business needs and delivered functionality
• Assist with business process improvement and system optimization initiatives
• Document project decisions, meeting notes, and testing outcomes
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional development teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Systems Analysis
• Strong experience with:
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • SDLC Methodologies
  • Agile/Scrum Environments
  • Business Process Analysis
  • UAT & Manual Testing
• Experience supporting enterprise web application development projects
• Experience writing and executing test plans and test cases
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience documenting defects and coordinating issue resolution
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative Agile development teams

Mandatory Skills

• UAT / Manual Testing Experience
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• .NET Application Environment Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise .NET web application projects
• Experience with business process mapping and workflow documentation
• Experience supporting application modernization initiatives.
