Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with comprehensive experience across pediatric and school settings. Work within a dynamic K-12 educational environment providing speech therapy services tailored to student needs. This contract position extends for the full school year and is based in Hampton, VA.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in healthcare settings and pediatric speech therapy
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in delivering services within K-12 school systems
Primary responsibilities involve conducting speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and maintaining accurate documentation of services. The role emphasizes supporting students communication skills to enhance academic success and social interaction.
