Lindsay Chevrolet of Front Royal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our customers' vehicles.

Up to a $5,000 signing bonus for qualified applicants and assistance moving your tool box.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot concerns and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards according to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Keep up to date with advancements in automotive technology and participate in training programs as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair is preferred.
• Virginia Safety inspection license preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
• ASE certification or equivalent professional credentials are a plus.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
