About the Position
Job Title: Electrophysiology Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience required License: Valid RN state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Electrophysiology mapping experience Sterile technique skills EKG lead placement Dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation Cardiac background Description: The RN will work in the Electrophysiology Lab. Candidates must have scrub experience in Electrophysiology. No weekends and no call requirements. There is a rotating late shift requirement. All staff are expected to sign up to stay late if a case extends into the evening. The lab closes on designated holidays. Charting is done using Epic. Requests for time off must be included with the submission. The facility can call off one shift per two weeks. The candidate must be available to work or take call one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. The RN should possess knowledge of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management. Experience with various equipment is preferred. The hospital is recognized for excellence in cardiac procedures and offers comprehensive care for complex heart conditions.
