As an Armed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to guest and staff needs with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle, conducting regular and random rounds of the property, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Maintain an armed post in accordance with licensing requirements and site procedures, including compliant weapon handling practices, access control support, and escalation to law enforcement and/or management when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, and/or guest complaints, and coordinate response with onsite teams.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
