  • Oversee layout, routing, and installation methods for cooling lines, drains, and mechanical support systems.

Leadership, Mentorship & Communication

  • Train and mentor junior mechanical and structural engineers in design fundamentals, engineering process discipline, and quality expectations.
  • Communicate technical topics clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including operations leadership, project managers, manufacturing leads, and field technicians.
  • Author detailed written procedures, technical bulletins, troubleshooting guides, and process documentation to support both factory and field operations.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high-quality engineering output.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical system design, enclosure fabrication, or structural assemblies.
  • Demonstrated hands-on capability with mechanical tools and field remediation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical cooling systems, plumbing interfaces, and industrial installation practices.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering efforts and mentor junior engineers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Ability to travel 25% or more

Preferred

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, energy storage systems, data centers, or similar enclosure-based systems.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes, safety programs, and factory production practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and structural or thermal analysis software.
