**Responsibilities:**

- Set up workstations and prep ingredients for cooking

- Cook dishes to business standards, ensuring quality and consistency

- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine kitchen cleaning

- Prep for events and work efficiently on the line

- Execute precise timing of food preparation to ensure timely service

- Actively communicate with the team and provide excellent dining service to clients with a professional attitude

**Requirements & Qualifications**

• Proven working experience as a cook, preferably in a professional kitchen environment.
• Ability to read and write recipes accurately.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Strong culinary skills and understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Reliable transportation for commuting to different event locations and catering venues within the SWVA region. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver's license, as transportation to various event locations and catering venues within the SWVA region may be required for this position.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing menus and customer preferences.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.
• Any additional duties requested and assigned by management
