Paralegal (General Liability)

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000

Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of case management while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Exceptional typing, proofreading, and grammar skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• The ability to take ownership of assignments and see projects through to completion
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new software and systems

Preferred Experience

• Paralegal Certificate and/or degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Experience working in a law firm or legal environment
• Familiarity with:
• • Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Electronic court filings (e-filing)
  • pdfDocs or similar PDF software
  • Scanning and electronic file management
  • Document management systems
• Experience working in a paperless office environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the preparation, organization, and management of legal matters
• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
• Coordinate electronic filings and maintain filing deadlines
• Organize and maintain electronic case files and records
• Review, scan, and manage documents within the firm's document management system
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
• Support attorneys with case-related and administrative projects as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 , depending on experience
