Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM | Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Pay: $40–$50/hour (depending on experience)

Benefits: This position is eligible for health, dental, vision, insurance, and 401(K).

Additional Details:

  • Hybrid schedule with approximately 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
  • Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
  • 40 hours per week with flexibility for the right candidate.
  • Interview process consists of two rounds.

About our client:

Addison Group is partnering with an established organization seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to support its Human Resources team during a period of organizational growth and transition. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact across multiple HR functions while working alongside a collaborative leadership team.

Job Description:

The Senior HR Generalist will oversee a broad range of human resources responsibilities, supporting employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle. This position requires a hands-on HR professional who can manage daily HR operations, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, employee support, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage leave of absence programs while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, including reporting and system updates.
  • Support performance management initiatives, employee development, and engagement programs.
  • Partner with leadership to improve HR processes and promote operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Assist with payroll coordination, audits, and other HR projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
  • Experience administering benefits, leave programs, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, ERISA, and related regulations.
  • Familiarity with California employment law is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Government contracting experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
