OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT is standing up a ServiceNow line of business (LOB) and desires to become a ServiceNow Consulting and Implementation (C&I) partner. We are seeking a ServiceNow Capture Lead with demonstrable ServiceNow experience to drive this strategic initiative. In addition to establishing this LOB, the ServiceNow Capture Lead will also be responsible for leading business development and capture efforts focused on establishing our private and particularly public sector footprint in ServiceNow-based digital transformation solutions. This role will report directly to the VP of Strategy & Growth with dotted line reporting to the VP of IT and requires strong leadership, client management, and sales skills as well as ServiceNow expertise.
This position is for a W-2 role with a base + commission compensation structure.
Day to day responsibilities include:
● Drive the strategic build-out of the ServiceNow LOB, including go-to-market strategy, partner ecosystem development, team certifications, C&I partner status, and P&L/metrics review frameworks.
● Matrix manage the ServiceNow capture team as the LOB scales and matures.
● Identify, qualify, and prioritize public and private sector ServiceNow C&I opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
● Develop and execute strategic capture plans in coordination with the OCT Business Development team.
● Lead customer engagement and relationship-building efforts with private and public sector clients.
● Manage relationships with industry partners.
● Conduct competitive analysis, teaming strategies, and pricing strategy development.
● Support proposal teams on win themes, solution architectures, and proposal development.
● Represent OCT at ServiceNow industry events and forums.
● Manage and grow ServiceNow LOB and P&L.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
● Must be a U.S. Citizen with eligibility for a government clearance.
● Must have at least 10 years of ServiceNow work experience, Consulting and Implementation focus preferred.
● Proven track record of leading successful capture efforts over $5M in annualized value, particularly in the Government market.
● Experience managing and growing a multi-million-dollar annual P&L, and willingness to take full and complete ownership over P&L growth.
● Heavily incentivized by a commission / bonus-based compensation structure.
● Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
● Self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
● Experience with ServiceNow sales, partnership program, and delivery models.
● Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
● Preferred: Existing relationships with federal IT buyer communities.
● Preferred: CIS-ITSM, ServiceNow Sales Accreditations.
● Preferred: FedRAMP knowledge or training.
● Preferred: Secret or TS Clearance.
● This role is DC area preferred with hybrid work schedule in Tysons, VA.

Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000 annually + commission; compensation will be primarily commission based
