**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail or mall environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and promote a positive atmosphere.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with the public, team members, and client representatives as needed.
+ Prepare clear and concise written reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or activities during patrols.
+ Support loss prevention efforts and provide a visible presence to help to deter theft or other unwanted behavior within the location.
+ Remain alert to surroundings and any changes in the environment that may require a security-related response.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
