This is an Entry Level position for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who loves to learn, welcomes new ideas and wants to be an integral part of a results-oriented and collaborative team.

Personal Lines Support Specialist Expectations:

• Support the service and sales team by handling administrative duties and ad hoc needs
• Each day, you will assist customers with changes to their insurance program
• You’ll take payments from customers by credit card, check or money order
• You will distribute physical mail and scan documents into our system
• An important part of this role will be helping customers during their claims process by calling or emailing to ensure the insurance company is doing their part
• You will communicate positively and proactively with prospects, customers, insurance underwriters, and internal staff
• We will rely on you to provide a world class experience over the life of the customer

Personal Lines Support Specialist Skills and Experience:

• Enjoy speaking with prospective and current customers—you will be on the phone talking to customers the majority of your time
• Able to quickly triage customer needs and find the right person to help them
• Tech savvy... flip phones need not apply
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
• Positive attitude and solutions-oriented, even when a customer is upset or angry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable using electronic communication, storage, etc. (Google Drive, Microsoft Outlook, proprietary software)
• Property & Casualty License will need to be obtained within 30 days (we will reimburse you once the exam has been passed)
• Ability to pass employment screenings
