Responsibilities

• Remove existing flooring materials and prepare subfloors for installation.
• Cut, fit, stretch, and secure carpet using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Install carpet padding, tack strips, transitions, and related materials.
• Load, unload, and transport carpet, tools, and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment before, during, and after installations.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation schedules and project requirements.
• Address installation issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
• Complete installation paperwork and obtain customer sign-offs when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in carpet installation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work
