Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Roanoke, VA 24014 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 – End: 12/08/2025)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM), plus call (7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,620 - $2,690 per week
• Patient Population: Young, middle, and older adults
• Charting System: Epic EMR

CT / Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a cardiac cath lab or similar clinical setting
• Active ARRT certification and Virginia state license (or eligibility for 90-day authorization with another state license)
• RCIS / CCI certification accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Interventional radiology or critical care experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including:
  • Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
  • Coronary Athrectomy
  • IABP Placement and Removal
  • Impella Insertion
  • Orbital and Rotablader Athrectomy
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
• Monitor and assess patient hemodynamics accurately
• Set up, operate, and maintain cardiac cath lab equipment
• Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Maintain sterile field and assist with scrub duties
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, pharmacy, rapid response)
• Participate in rotating call schedule and holiday coverage
• Document procedures and patient care in Epic EMR
