What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures visitor access protocols and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Screen employees visitors patients and/or vendors at designated entry points by checking identification confirming access requirements and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with staff guests and/or local responders regarding entry procedures restricted items and other security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned noting conditions and reporting concerns according to site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a current Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• A Baton Certification is preferred.
• A CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
