• Have a working knowledge of cooking procedures, kitchen equipment, and food safety rules.
• Label, date & rotate all food properly - F.I.F.O. System.
• Follow all portion controls for all food items.
• Control & limit all waste.
• Follow opening & closing procedures.
• Have knowledge of where & how everything is stored.
•Ability to build menu items based off of recipes.
•Be knowledgeable and able to execute all stations in the kitchen.
•Team members must ensure that all food items have been rang in before leaving the kitchen.
•Team members must be knowledgeable of cleanliness standards and execute them.
•Team members must be flexible and able to adapt to change.
•Team members must be able to properly execute pre-ordered packages based on BEO documents.
Qualifications
Must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory level.
Education and/or Experience:
•2 years secondary education and must be of legal age per local law.
Language Skills:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
•Ability to write simple correspondence.
•Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and fellow team members.
Mathematical Skills:
•Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Ability to compute rate and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions.
•Ability to efficiently work with people
