CrossCountry Consulting’s growing Cyber Risk practice comprises talented professionals in the fields of cybersecurity, data protection, and emerging AI and technology risk. We partner with organizations to assess, design, build, and implement leading cybersecurity programs that reduce risk, ensure compliance, and align to broader business and strategic needs.
As Associate Director, you will be an integral part of the Cyber Risk leadership team: driving growth of our client base, independently leading complex client engagements, and continuously improving our capabilities. We are looking for passionate self-starters who enjoy learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies, excel at leading teams and mentoring others, and get excited about helping our clients strategically solve cyber & emerging technology challenges.
What You'll Do:- Serve as a key leader in the DC Risk Advisory practice, applying deep cybersecurity expertise to grow CrossCountry’s client base and consulting team.
- Lead accounts and steward client relationships across financial services, large enterprise commercial, government contracting, emerging growth, and private equity and portfolio companies.
- Provide hands-on project leadership across a diverse range of cyber and related technology risk engagements, spanning cyber strategy and transformation, cyber risk management, security architecture, secure AI, security operations, identity and access management, and offensive security testing.
- Lead and mentor teams, taking accountability for results and driving the development of exceptional solutions and deliverables.
- Apply specialized knowledge in particular cyber domains, and broad acumen across all facets of cybersecurity, including emerging technology areas like artificial intelligence.
- Fuse cyber technical depth with outstanding general management consulting skills; influence and deliver results to technically-minded operators and business executives.
- Identify, design, test, and scale new solution offerings for the cyber and broader risk advisory practice.
- Coach, mentor, and nurture our cyber and risk advisory team members.
- 9+ years of experience, with proven pedigree in consulting or equivalent companies.
- Experience with the major cybersecurity frameworks and standards, and tools and technologies.
- Experience delivering security solutions across major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) platforms.
- Experience with Identity & Access Management technology, implementations, and transformation.
- Experience with cyber testing and resilience around Incident Response, BCP/DR, Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management and Threat Modeling.
- Experience leading teams and project managing.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
