The Delivery Driver plays a key role in providing timely and accurate regional package deliveries using a company-provided vehicle. This solo driving position involves interaction with customers, managing loading and unloading tasks, and maintaining delivery records using paper-based logs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently within the regional travel area
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers upon delivery
- Load and unload delivery vehicle ensuring careful handling of packages
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation manually using paper-based systems
- Operate company-provided vehicle following all driving safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in delivery driving
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong adherence to driving safety standards
- Effective communication skills for customer interaction
