Account Manager

As the global market leader in our low-voltage/telecommunications infrastructure space, CommScope is looking for an upbeat Account Manager to join a very successful and results-oriented team. The ideal candidate will be based in the Northern Virginia area or the Washington DC metro area.

This role is predominately customer-facing, and our ideal candidate would be comfortable in the responsibility of positioning and selling a portfolio of premium low-voltage infrastructure copper/fiber solutions, in addition to In-Building Wireless and Distributed Antenna Systems at the End User decision-maker level.
Here, you will provide outstanding customer service by understanding the customer and specific business units; delivering products, services, and solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Required Qualifications for Consideration
- A completed Bachelor’s Degree with 18+ months of proven sales experience.
- Ability to strategically run large, enterprise accounts and grow the territory.
- Expert ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with existing customers and grow existing revenue streams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, willing to take action with professional interpersonal skills.
Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000.
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
