About the Role
Join our Vascular and General Surgery blended model at Centra Health, serving patients across the Farmville, VA reigon. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) play a vital role in patient care—managing both new and established visits, rounding in the hospital, and supporting surgical patients throughout their continuum of care.

APPs work closely with physicians and are supported by dedicated nursing staff, fostering efficiency, continuity of care, and strong patient relationships. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of cases and collaborate with a broad range of specialties. Together, these settings offer a balanced and rewarding practice.Â

Orientation & Schedule

• Monday - Friday 8 - 5pm
• No call, no nights, no weekends
• Flexible schedules with the option of 4x10s available.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate daily with surgeons and other specialties
• Work with Cerner EMR for seamless documentation
• Enjoy variable day shifts with rotating weekend/holiday coverage
• Have the opportunity to assist in operating room
• Evaluate patients in clinic for post-op and acute visits
• Round, consult, discharge, and manage inpatient care
• Order and interpret diagnostic evaluations and therapies
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
