RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in patient care planning and delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Must have 4 years recent ER experience in a hospital setting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS & TNCC (must be through American Heart Association)
• Idaho RN license required
• Position created for coverage during staff leave
• Must demonstrate accountability for shift management and patient safety in Emergency Department setting
