Light Equipment Operator
We are currently seeking a member for a light equipment operator (Forklift) position in our Premier Tech Growers and Consumers plant located in Mattaponi . This horticulture facility processes growing media for our customers who in turn feed, protect and improve our world.
Your future role
- You have previous forklift experience.
- You will assist with the overall operation of the facility; in many instances, it will not involve forklift operation.
- Your shift is Monday – Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm ( may vary based on operational demands ) with the possibility of limited overtime.
- You will work inside and outside of the facility in all safe weather conditions.
- You will be an active participant in keeping the facility clean and organized.
- You can abide by all safety regulations.
Required skills
- You work well in a production environment, within a team setting and have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are a team player that places high value on safety.
- You can work independently and can multitask in a high paced environment.
- You can lift up to 50lbs.
- You can foresee and respond to potentially dangerous situations.
