Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fully Onsite)

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established organization in the residential construction industry that is seeking an Inventory Assistant to support day-to-day inventory and logistics operations. This opportunity is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys a combination of administrative and hands-on inventory responsibilities.
Job Description:
The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for supporting inventory management activities, coordinating equipment shipments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with operational processes related to company assets. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, process, and organize incoming equipment and inventory items.
• Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments to employees and business locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using internal tracking systems.
• Perform data entry and update inventory information with a high degree of accuracy.
• Scan, label, and track equipment throughout its lifecycle.
• Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation efforts.
• Package and prepare equipment for shipment according to company procedures.
• Support additional inventory and logistics projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong data entry and administrative skills.
• Experience working with inventory tracking systems, databases, or ticketing platforms preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• High school diploma required; recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
Additional Details:
• Contract length: 6 months with potential extension.
• Start date: June 2026.
• Fully onsite position in Reston, VA.
• 40 hours per week.
• Team size is under 10 employees.
• Interview process consists of one virtual interview.
• Position is open due to business needs and operational support requirements.
• Reports directly to an Operations Supervisor within a collaborative team environment.
