Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Winchester, TN 37398 – Southern Tennessee healthcare jobs near Tims Ford Lake and State Park
- Healthcare Setting: Skilled Nursing Unit within a comprehensive medical facility
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel RN contract)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/7/2025 – End: 12/7/2025)
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:00), 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800 - $1,840
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend or as needed
- Orientation: Weekly, every Monday
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Skilled Nursing or LTC preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC (must be current prior to start)
- Ability to float to other clinical units as needed
- Professional demeanor and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Scrub color: Any (no casual wear permitted)
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients of all ages in a collaborative clinical environment
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and deliver appropriate nursing interventions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training
- Float to other nursing units as required to support facility needs
