Applicaton SupportSmart Cards Machinery
An International manufacturer of smart card and specialized coding machinery is looking for a field service engineer to focus on their software integrations and applications at customer locations in North America. Their main US offices are located in Newport News, VA. This organization makes plastic card personalization, encoding and chip programming machines. You are expected to travel nationwide to do installations and training of software applications. Expect travel to be around 60% with little weekend work. When not on the road you will be expected to help with demos, training and phone support. Good computer and networking skills are required along with solid education in C++. You should be able to work alone and in teams. A BS degree is desired, not required. Salary range is from $60k to $80k with limited OT available. They do offer full benefits, per diem when traveling, company credit card, cell phone and laptop. If you are interested in the learning more, please submit a resume for consideration.
