As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity at the location, and document daily events, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with site expectations.
• Support a professional atmosphere within a commercial real estate location by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and reporting security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
