Position Description: Staengl Engineering is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who shares our company commitment to designing cutting-edge energy-efficient, high-performance buildings. Ideally, you’ll be a licensed Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 10 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial and multi-family residential buildings in Revit. If you have experience managing MEP projects and designing alternative energy systems and micro-grids that would also be a plus. You’ll be a great fit if you’re self-motivated, independent and comfortable working in a small, growing company environment.

Skills / Requirements:

· You have an Electrical Engineering degree

· You have at least 5 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings

· You have your Professional Engineer License in Electrical Engineering in at least one U.S. State

· You have expertise in Revit

· You have experience with alternative energy systems (solar, wind)

· You have project management experience

· You’re a creative thinker with effective communication and teamwork skills

LEED AP and experience with BIM would also be desirable.
