Job Summary:
This position is based out of our corporate office in North Chesterfield VA. This is a fully on-site position.
The HR Coordinator is a member of the Care Advantage Human Resources team under the supervision of the Senior HR Business Partner. This position provides administrative HR support to employees across all divisions while additionally supporting the Care Advantage corporate HR function as needed. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service as the receptionist and first point of contact for Care Advantage Inc
- Respond to incoming calls on a multi-line phone system for the CAI family of companies and transfer calls accordingly
- Handle and sort incoming or outgoing packages and mail. Send out communications when packages need to be picked up; send out branch mail weekly
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the lobby area to ensure CAI presents a professional, welcoming environment
- Monitor the break areas to ensure teammates collaborate on keeping them neat and clean. Periodically clean out the refrigerator after notifying the team in advance.
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies as warranted
- Support office colleagues in administrative efforts including responding to caregiver inquiries and routing them to the appropriate department/branch office
- Enters Criminal Records Checks (CRCs) into appropriate portal and delivers results electronically to branches; send follow up notices for those not eligible for employment
- Work with VP of HR on the creation and coordination of monthly/yearly company events
- Complete verifications of employment
- Data entry into ADP as assigned
- Create badges for skilled employees
- Processing of OIGs
- Formatting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Company contact for vendors – McKession, Quill and Biotech
- Provide Mergers & Acquisition and De Novos (new office) support
- Other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in an administrative/HR role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professionalism is essential at all times
- Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization
- Being detail-oriented is a MUST
- Strong computer skills including MS Office products
