Rental Dispatcher:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Schedule deliveries of rental equipment and equipment for operators maximizing personnel and trucks.
-Answer incoming phone calls
-Ensure that the driver’s keep their vehicles orderly and clean and follow the service schedule for each truck making sure that they receive regular preventive maintenance.
-Fill out accurate and detailed rental contract worksheets, making sure that rates, addresses, special instructions and all applicable information is filled out especially rates and delivery fees.
-Keep an open line of communication with your administrative assistant so as to facilitate timely billing of rental contracts. Get bills out as quickly as possible.
-See to it that drivers move through the yard in an efficient manner with as little “down time” as possible.
-Work with the shop foremen so as to keep the most needed pieces of rental equipment on the ready line. Discuss with him what is needed and what you feel will be the “hot” items down the road.
-Keep the equipment status board up to date on applicable pieces of equipment, and keep track of all operator pieces making sure that nothing is left on job sites after work is completed. Make as much contact with the field supervisor as is necessary.
-Annually assess drivers through the review process, and make appropriate recommendations to management.
-Must have rental/construction experience.

Must be able to sell value, yourself and have consulting skills to overcome price objections. Be highly trainable and have a minimum of 10 years of experience. Computer skills are essential. Knowledge of construction equipment, durable goods, heavy machinery, building products or any other mechanical products is helpful but not required.
Hours of Operations:Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00PM
