Azure API Developer
This is a remote position.
This role is part of a collaborative team of technology professionals supporting mission-critical initiatives within the public sector. The position focuses on designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based integration solutions using modern Agile delivery practices. The work involves close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders to build secure, scalable APIs and integration services that support federal operations.
This is a fully remote position within the United States.
Role Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain APIs and cloud integration solutions using Microsoft Azure
Build and support services leveraging Azure integration technologies, including API Management and event-driven architectures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions
Apply modern integration patterns, including synchronous and asynchronous messaging, pub/sub, and microservices
Support deployment and operations using containerized and cloud-native tooling
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in API design and development
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (Application will NOT be reviewed without this certification)
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure integration technologies
Strong experience with:
Azure API Management (APIM)
Azure Service Bus, Event Grid
Azure Logic Apps and Functions
RESTful API design
Solid understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, microservices)
Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, PowerShell, Docker, and Kubernetes/AKS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
Security & Eligibility Requirements (Required)
Due to the nature of the work and contractual requirements associated with supporting federal systems:
U.S. citizenship is required
Candidates must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust adjudication
