Azure API Developer

This is a remote position.

This role is part of a collaborative team of technology professionals supporting mission-critical initiatives within the public sector. The position focuses on designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based integration solutions using modern Agile delivery practices. The work involves close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders to build secure, scalable APIs and integration services that support federal operations.

This is a fully remote position within the United States.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and cloud integration solutions using Microsoft Azure

• Build and support services leveraging Azure integration technologies, including API Management and event-driven architectures

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions

• Apply modern integration patterns, including synchronous and asynchronous messaging, pub/sub, and microservices

• Support deployment and operations using containerized and cloud-native tooling

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  

Requirements

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in API design and development
  

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (Application will NOT be reviewed without this certification)

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure integration technologies

• Strong experience with:

  • Azure API Management (APIM)

  • Azure Service Bus, Event Grid

  • Azure Logic Apps and Functions

  • RESTful API design

• Solid understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, microservices)

• Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, PowerShell, Docker, and Kubernetes/AKS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field

Security & Eligibility Requirements (Required)

Due to the nature of the work and contractual requirements associated with supporting federal systems:

• U.S. citizenship is required

• Candidates must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust adjudication
