Assistant Director -Sales & Brand Growth
Overview of Role
A servant leader with a deep understanding of and love for our Guests, who develops and executes a strategic marketing vision that amplifies both Sales and Brand Growth in the local restaurant and community.The role is to partner with the operator to plan and execute sales building activities that will build relationship, which will increase customer count, check average and outside sales. Maximizing time spent managing marketing-related activities for the purpose of Growing sales and building the brand, while improving the Operations excellence from Customer aspect in side the store.The individual will be responsible for managing, executing and growing Inside sales, outside sales (ADP, Catering), Marketing & Mobile App

Responsibilities
Some responsibilities may be shared by other leaders as determined by the Operator.
- Creating & executing a strategic marketing & sales plan on weekly, monthly & yearly basis that spurs sales and brand growth for the restaurant (i.e., increase transactions, check averages, outside sales- Catering & ADP- Additional Distribution Points)
- Improve FOH operations to improve efficiency & Customer Experience
- Strengthening the restaurant’s digital & social presence to build emotional connections with Guests and escalate reach & awareness
- Building, teaching, and developing the broader restaurant team’s marketing & Brand mindset
- Partnering with the Operator & Directors to strategically lead and grow the business
- Learning and living the Chick-fil-A Way (e.g., culture, values, mission, etc.)
- Directing the team to deliver on the growth strategy’s objectives and initiatives
- Collaborating with Operations to understand capacity, design solutions, and develop systems to an effective restaurant
- Developing and leading systems to ensure the healthy growth of sales (i.e., training Team Members to personalize orders, following up with catering Guests, etc.)
- Managing the budget, including donation allotments and digital offers, to maintain business costs
- Providing weekly sales & operational reports to the Executive Leadership Team
- Establishing & execution of staple restaurant events (i.e., Daddy Daughter Date Night)
- Analyzing Guest data, data trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evolve marketing strategy
- Carrying out a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program with those who frequently engage with the catering business
- Continuing to learn and grow professional skillset while simultaneously elevating the team’s mindset
- Supporting the Operations team during rush hours, catering events and per business needs to ensure operational excellence in store
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers in the community to increase brand awareness and sales
- Work closely with operations and kitchen staff to ensure the Restaurant has all food and paper goods needed to prepare upcoming catering & ADP orders.
- Establish & Secure New ADP & Catering by cold calling, in person visits and other channels on regular cadence
- Ensure all catering , ADP events are being delivered in timely manner with exceptional quality
- Manage, Schedule team for Events inside and outside the restaurant
- Ensure the catering , ADP, Trailer & catering vehicle, equipment and catering area in the Restaurant are clean and organized and Counted
- Create and maintain documentation around all Restaurant catering, ADP & marketing procedures. Create a training program for new Team Leaders and all Team Members involved in catering.
- Continuously evaluate all Customer experiences, and create a culture of continuous improvement and communicate & implement operational improvement systems for the organization .
