Apex Entertainment is seeking a passionate and energetic Go-Kart Marshall to join our team and provide exceptional service and fun to our visitors. As a Go-Kart Marshall, you will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, overseeing the go-kart experience, and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable time on the track.

Responsibilities:

1. Safety and Course Knowledge:

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the go-kart course, including safety requirements, proper harnessing techniques, and rules for visitor participation.
• Greet guests in a professional manner, ensuring they are properly harnessed, dressed in appropriate attire, and familiar with the course rules.

1. Guest Assistance and Supervision:

• Facilitate the use of the go-kart course by explaining the different elements, providing supervision during the rides, and offering encouragement as needed.
• Monitor and regulate the number of guests allowed on the track at any given time, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

1. Equipment Maintenance and Inspection:

• Conduct regular inspections of harnesses, safety restraints, and equipment to ensure their proper functioning and detect any signs of wear and tear.
• Follow all maintenance protocols and utilize provided materials and equipment according to training.

1. Course Safety and Rule Enforcement:

• Uphold strict adherence to course safety requirements, ensuring the secure harnessing of visitors and enforcing all course rules and regulations.
• Physically inspect and secure all harnesses and safety restraints before each race.

1. Exceptional Guest Service:

• Demonstrate outstanding guest service skills and embody the core values of the company, exceeding guests' expectations during their go-kart experience.
• Assist patrons entering and exiting the course and provide any necessary support throughout their visit.

1. Operational Duties:

• Maintain control of racing events from the central control station, including operating computer systems, speed control/emergency shutdown systems, and signaling systems.
• Ensure the safe entry and exit of drivers from the go-karts, offering assistance and guidance during lapping sessions.
• Safely conduct lapping sessions, controlling designated portions of the track and effectively communicating with drivers using established signals, such as flags and signs.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of go-kart operations, safety protocols, and course rules.
• Exceptional guest service skills and the desire to consistently exceed guests' expectations.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Ability to provide assistance to patrons and maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
