Bath Community Hospital is seeking a full-time Communications and Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting marketing in internal and external communications, planning and coordinating events, as well as supporting the marketing department. To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including patients, vendors, and team members. You should also have excellent time management skills to ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time and within budget. Creativity is also important to make events stand out and come up with unique ideas for event themes, decorations, and activities. Responsibilities: - Assist in implementation of comprehensive marketing plan to increase awareness of Bath Community Hospital and its subsidiaries to include Bath Community Physicians Group, Bath Community Pharmacy, and Bath Community Rehab & Wellness.
- Create engaging content and graphics, and manage various platforms including social media, website, newsletters, and community benefits tracker.
- Manage all internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Coordinate and execute events such as health fairs and community outreach programs to align with hospital mission.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance the hospital's visibility.
- Event planning and management to include creating and managing budgets.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field / or two years' experience in the same
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel), social media platforms, various content management systems, and graphic design tools such as Canva (or similar software).
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
