Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Ready to lead a new pharmacy from the ground up? A brand-new long-term care pharmacy is launching operations in Roanoke, VA, and we're seeking a highly experienced Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to take the reins.
This is a direct hire leadership opportunity for a confident, hands-on LTC pharmacist ready to own both administrative operations and on-the-floor staffing. You'll lead a team of pharmacists and technicians in a full-scale, 24/7 pharmacy environment.
What Youll Do:
Oversee all pharmacy operations in pliance with federal/state regulations
Lead quality assurance and policy implementation
Verify and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately
Build and motivate a high-performing team
Stay visible, approachable, and ready to jump in when needed
What Were Looking For:
Active Virginia Pharmacist license required
Minimum 5 years of LTC pharmacy experience
Prior leadership experience in LTC pharmacy settings
Strong knowledge of Frameworks/DocuTrack systems
Clear munication skills and ability to drive productivity
Must be highly organized and fortable in a fast-paced startup environment
