Associate Veterinarian – Greater Richmond, VA #3962

We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join an outstanding team of doctors and staff in the Greater Richmond area. This is a friendly general small animal practice just 25 minutes south of the city. The spacious facility offers wellness exams, vaccines, x-rays, lab diagnostics, surgery, dentals, and euthanasia. A typical work week is 40 hours or less, depending on customer demand and seasonal fluctuations.

This practice fosters a culture that nurtures happiness, a healthy work-life balance, and good medicine. They emphasize that the doctors practice good medicine over good profits, and structure their pay to reinforce such. This is a strong family-style workplace with very low employee turnover. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience working in a general practice. 10+ years is preferred. They are confident in routine surgery.

Compensation/Benefits: A fixed salary is offered so that a doctor’s pay does not interfere with their quality of medicine and so that they can have steady, predictable, and generous paychecks without any strings or complications. Benefits are health, dental, vision, license dues, paid time off, uniform allowance, and CE allowance.
