Join our team as an Order Picker, where you will engage in activities related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This weekday role involves order picking and material movement, alongside packaging or staging orders for shipment or internal use. You will contribute to loading and unloading products while maintaining records of progress, restocking materials, and ensuring a clean and organized work area. Your role will also involve utilizing inventory control systems through computers, tablets, and scanners, among other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Engage in order picking and material movement.
• Package or stage orders for shipment or internal use.
• Load and unload products, keeping records of progress.
• Restock products and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Utilize inventory control systems via computers, tablets, and scanners.
• Support coworkers and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Deliver customer value through efficient and accurate work.

• Experience with picking, RF scanners, and order picking processes.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
• Good organizational, communication, and math skills.
• Basic computer skills including internet usage and scanning systems.
• Ability to lift, pack, stack, and wrap up to 50 pounds regularly.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Work Environment

Work a weekday shift from Monday to Thursday, 6AM to 4:30PM, in a production environment that is non-climate controlled. Be prepared for warehouse temperatures that may reach up to 90 degrees during the summer months.

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
