Utilities Support Specialist
Job Duties:
- Answer and respond promptly to phone calls and emails related to the Backflow Prevention Program in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner.
- Provide accurate information and assistance to customers, testers, contractors, and internal staff regarding backflow tests, compliance status, and notifications.
- Record and track all communications, ensuring inquiries and requests are documented in Backflow Program database and Backflow Overdue Tracking Office Application.
- Enter and update customer, contact, and location information accurately in the Backflow Program database.
- Assist with mailing the annual backflow test notifications and other program-related communications, as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and program information and uphold professional standards in all communications.
- Provide administrative support to the Backflow Program team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Requirements:
- Requires high school or GED or any equivalent combination of experience and training in fields providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
Weekly pay and benefits available!
Job Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23456
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Payrate: $16.03/hr.
