Polysomnography Technologist – Fort Belvoir, VA (#R10145)

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA | Pay: $40/hr + $5/hr night shift diff | Type: Full-Time (Mon–Fri).

Join a top-tier Military Medical Center as a Sleep Technologist , providing high-level diagnostic care in sleep medicine. Work overnight shifts (8 PM–6 AM) with state-of-the-art equipment, and support a board-certified sleep physician in evaluating complex sleep disorders.

What You’ll Need:

• 2+ years of sleep tech experience.
• RPSGT or ABSM certification.
• BLS certified.
• Strong technical skills & ability to troubleshoot during studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare patients for overnight and daytime sleep studies.
• Apply electrodes and monitoring devices using the modified 10/20 system.
• Monitor, document, and respond to abnormal sleep patterns and patient needs.
• Operate and troubleshoot computerized sleep diagnostic equipment.
• Score sleep studies and prepare reports for physician review.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
• Support administrative and operational tasks within the Sleep Medicine Clinic.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the testing process.
