We are currently seeking a skilled CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) t As a CRNA in the field of Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgeries, labor and delivery, and other medical treatments. As a CRNA , you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from surgical procedures to pain management treatments. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, developing anesthesia plans, administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the healthcare field while utilizing your specialized skills in anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients to determine appropriate anesthesia plan
- Administering various types of anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures
- Monitoring patient vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborating with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process
- Managing anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Providing post-anesthesia care and monitoring patient recovery
- Documenting patient information and anesthesia care accurately
Requirements:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure
- Associate degree in Nursing or related field
- Proven experience as a CRNA in anesthesiology
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Flexible Schedule: 8, 12, or 24-hour shifts
Call shifts required
Will cover multiple facilities, including a Level II Trauma Center
Annual Volumes: ~300 cardiac cases, ~4,000 total deliveries across facilities
Open to various skillsets, including cardiac, high-risk OB, general surgery, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, etc.
Care team model, 1:3 supervision
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
