We are currently conducting a search for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis for a large, reputable company that is located in Richmond, VA.
This position will provide support to the business by producing company financial forecasts, leading the annual budgeting process, performing operating plan variance analysis, identifying Key Performance Indicators, and providing financial insight into special projects. Additionally, the Manager of FP&A will provide strategic support through assistance with financial presentation preparation, capital expenditure analysis, acquisition analysis and other projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing the strategic plan through various activities including M&A, new revenue stream analysis, and creating models related to potential transactions
• Preparation and review of financial reporting for actual reporting and developing driver-based variance analysis of actuals to plan
• Develop and manage the monthly operating forecast
• Manage the development of cash analytics, cash forecasting and presentations for delivery to senior executives and external parties
• Lead the annual budgeting process from establishment of top side goals in conjunction with projection models developed in partnership with operational and sales leadership
• Support strategic business initiatives, investor relations, special projects, regulatory reporting, internal and external audit activities and inquiries independently
• Prepare analysis on a variety of initiatives including modeling, organizational change, operational improvements, assessment of acquisition targets, pro-forma analysis, synergies analysis, etc
• Provide timely, high value research and market analysis to improve the effectiveness of existing and products and services
• Develop tools to guide management reviews of business opportunities and performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA Preferred)
• 7 years of relevant FP&A, financial analysis, & financial reporting experience
• Strong systems skills, including Advanced MS Excel
