Enterprise Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. Candidates must have deep expertise in large language models, vector databases, and cloud deployments, with strong proficiency in Python for developing and integrating AI solutions.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Enterprise Architect job responsibilities include:

• Define and own the enterprise AI architecture and standards, setting the technical vision for large-scale AI programs across cloud environments.

• Design and govern AI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs), vector databases, and RAG/agent-based approaches, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

• Lead Responsible AI strategy and execution, establishing guidelines for fairness, transparency, compliance, and model governance.

• Drive end-to-end solution delivery—from requirements and design to cloud-native development, deployment, and integration—primarily using Python (and C where applicable).

• Enable and mentor engineering teams in prompt engineering (zero/one/few-shot, chain-of-thought), LangChain- or framework-based pipelines, and multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) AI services.

• Establish integration patterns and UI frameworks for AI applications, optimizing data pipelines, embeddings, and inference while enforcing architecture best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years in software architecture and development, with at least 5+ years focused on AI/ML solutions and enterprise architecture.

• Proven expertise in large language models (LLMs), AI frameworks, and vector databases, with hands-on experience in cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience in developing AI applications, including prompt engineering, RAG, and multi-cloud integration strategies.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
