This role is more than just coding. As a lead Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll oversee a team as they learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering

• 3+ years of experience in a Software Engineering Lead role

• Experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, and C#

• Experience with generative AI techniques, including GPT-3.5, DALL-E, or Langchain

• Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, and explainability principles

• Ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust generative AI applications

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools

• Knowledge of natural language processing, computer vision, or speech synthesis

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
