Logistics Specialist Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $17.50 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Second Shift ( Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 08:30pm )
- Enter and manage loads in the Freight Optimizer system.
- Track shipments, pickups, and deliveries, ensuring timely updates.
- Communicate with drivers, account managers, and customers regarding logistics.
- Investigate and document overages, shortages, or damages.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers with clear instructions for deliveries
Logistics Specialist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or office experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers, account managers, and customers.
- Experience with shipment tracking, scheduling, or dispatching is a plus.
- Comfortable using computer systems and technology to manage logistics processes.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
